The reason for “La Herrería”
La Herrería takes its name after the cantes de fragua (songs from the blacksmiths), in which blacksmiths sang by the burning forge, hitting the anvil with their hammer in their hands, shaping the material…. iron.
Moreover…. I am Jesús Blanco, flamenco dancer and, as my father, blacksmith. That is why I chose the name, as an homage in life to my father and with the intention of continuing the family business through the river of molten iron which brings together both paths, iron and art, down to the soul….
